« back to About Us

From Dublin, Ireland, I first qualified as a Surveyor, after completing my studies at the Institute of Technology on Bolton Street in the heart of Ireland’s Capitol. Shortly thereafter, I moved to England, and worked on the Eurotunnel project. In 1998 I entered University College of Dublin, and earned an Honors Degree in Law. I also hold a Paralegal Certificate from MCCC in New Jersey.

'Bad things happen, while good people stand by'– a motif, that particularly caught my attention while growing up – I live by that code - I’m not the ‘stand-by’ type! Once I have purchased into a cause, I become 100% pro-actively engaged - I don’t stop until I’ve exhausted every avenue available to me - I bring everything I start, to a closing. A couple of examples:

The Fat Lady Sings
the fat lady singsIn 1986, having qualified as a surveyor, I decided to follow my desire to become a musician. As a self-taught drummer, I formed The Fat Lady Sings, with a friend who had a songwriting gift that I greatly admired. Over the next six years, we developed and became one of Ireland’s best known and best loved bands. With a major recording contract, and several albums under our belt, with Atlantic Records, some of our tracks are still played in Ireland and around Europe to this day.

Peace Together
Peace TogetherIn 1992, as an Irishman born to a Protestant Father, and Catholic Mother, I felt a great urge to bring my best efforts to support the cause for Peace in Northern Ireland. Heeding that call, I set up PeaceTogether with Ali McMordie from Stiff Little Fingers, and over a three year period attracted input from well known and high profile artists such as U2, Peter Gabriel and Sinéad O’Connor, producing a Video, Single and Album.

Gaelic
In 2001 as an Irishman abroad, I re-discovered the ancient language of my forefathers, and began re-learning the language that generations of teachers had attempted to beat into me. Once outside Ireland, all Irish People find a new fondness for this beautiful and warm language. I teach Gaelic at Mercer County Community College, and am well known in the area and amongst my friends for my contributions to the local community in promoting and teaching Gaelic.

Mission
In my Real Estate practice, I bring both Legal and Surveying qualifications to the table, but, most importantly, I bring the same passion that has always been, and will forever be, the hallmark of my involvement with any cause, campaign or project.
